Meet one of KL’s young crushes muses: BAPTISTE GIABICONI … the french babe. He ranked number 1 in-demand model in the world as of 2009. I wont argue why, because he is a gorgeous young man with a chizzled bone structure and perfect model-quality features. I don’t know about the first name so much, I’ll call him Bap for short.

Sunny Day feat. Sangria

After all of our gorgeous sunny days the past week in Vancouver, the original weather (rain, rain and rain) has come back to its place. I have to say its a nice break, since I always feel obligated to get out and take advantage of the sun while its here. And well, now that its raining I don’t feel so guilty for not being very proactive. Although, by tomorrow or the next day I will be wishing for some sun again.

With a rainy day like this, I thought It would be nice to share a few pictures with the sun shining bright 2 weeks ago.

It was one of those days, where the sun was peaking through the streets, the breeze was frigid, and a Sangria was calling our names. That Sangria ended up being a delicious pomegranate Sangria which was sipped with joy at Milestones, English Bay (with a beautiful view). Brought out the pro-camera, slipped on the hipster clothing (scored some of the pieces at Aritzia’s sale rack for ridiculous prices! Stop by and try to snatch a few more good deals! ) and attempted being artsy, what’ya think?

Love my city. Vancouver 2010 Olympics

A day before the real madness of the Olympics began (60,000 + people arrived in one day), I decided to go out with some friends and take some fun artsy pics around the city. A day later the city is swarmed with people from around the world. It’s been crazy busy day & night for Vancouver, and we’re very lucky to enjoy the festivities with warm, spring-like weather. Honestly, it feels like a different country, very European with so many people, food, drinks, music, hype all around. It is truly fabulous.

Hope everyone has had a good time during this exciting week so far!

R.I.P Alexander McQueen

It is sad to say that another legend has taken their life.

Alexander McQueen, one of the most unusual and innovative designers who created mind-blowing fashion shows and beautiful works of art in his fashion designs, has taken his life just 3 days after his mother passed away and 3 years since his very dear friend Isabella also committed suicide.

It is truly a tragedy that this has happened. I hope he is in a better place now. I just wish I could have experienced one of his shows live, it would have been a most memorable moment. I wonder if someone will be taking over the label, and who it is that could fill the shoes of a creative master? We will see…

Karl… Chanel is looking fresh for spring 2010

“It’s the first time in my whole career I’ve done a collection without black or navy. There’s not one gold button.” says Karl Lagerfeld on his Chanel spring 2010 couture collection.

This collection is really beautiful. It is full of silvers, nudes, and whites. It is very gentle, and kind of makes me want to get married! I am really starting to fall in love with nudes more and more every day, they give off a very sweet and innocent effect to the creation. Karl, well he’s a genius… I still don’t understand how he designs for 3 labels and does phenomenal work on each one.

Hope for Haiti

As we all know, there has been a disastrous earthquake in Haiti. It has killed way too many people and there are still many suffering. I hope everyone has made their share of donations to all the charity’s. I know that Canada so far has raised somewhere around $7 million and the government matches it raising up to $14 million! If you haven’t donated, do it now! Any amount will help
