I recently posted about Amy’s songs and how much I love her music and her voice. Not a surprise that this day would come sooner than later…

Here’s a remix this Brazilian DJ did on her song (1 of my faves) Stronger than me: 

I wake up inspired although I am tired from working a very late night doing coatcheck at a club but, as soon as I have my coffee and a some breaky, I usually start humming, then singing and then i get into my groove. Seems to happen every Sunday.

For some reason I usually go into humming this song by Amy Winehouse… My jazz scat can go on for hours, it can be quite annoying actually (ask my sister). But I FEEL AMAZING! Great start to the day. You should try it sometime. Jazz scatting that is.

Anyway below is the music video. Take a listen. By the way, how beautiful is she? Such a shame that she’s completely drowned herself in drugs. She’s so talented.

watching the world go by…..

Being the day dreamer I am, cold snowy weather brings me to a cafe with a coffee in hand, people watching and fantasizing of endless possibilities. Of course, only while listening to some muzika and why not one of my faves….keeps me sane, the one and only killer vocalist Julie Mcknight. This song especially matches my frequent day-dreaming moods. The lyrics describe it all, and the soulful voice milks it’s way smoothly into your ears.
