I graduated from the Fashion Merchandising program at Blanche Macdonald Centre ( click here for website ) in February (2010). Attending this school was an incredible learning experience and I recommend it to anyone who has interest in a fashion-related career.

I do, every day. I dont really know if I’m happy or not. I know its in me somewhere but I’m not fully satisfied.

My love for music isn’t fulfilled and needs to be really soon or I’m going to exploddde. Fashion is an interest of mine for sure, but its not enough to keep me smiling 24/7 just on it’s own. I’m on a mission to save up for some turn tables and equipment to start spinning and making some good ass music ’cause i know its in me. Since im in school this is going to take a little while.

On another note, it’s pretty much summer now- nice hot weather and really enjoyable. Of course I am still in school and have a lotttt of projects to do plus a final exam i have to re-do inorder to pass the course (texiles&fabrics) which is not my cup of tea. Not so much partying for me in the past little while.I’m must say i dont mind going to bed early every weekend getting a nice run in on a saturday/sunday morning, but the homework part really kills me when its sunny out! Of course I also really miss hanging out with my friends I haven’t been able to in soooo longggg. I’m sure all this hard work will pay off soon (i hope!)

I havent blogged in a long time… so i thought why not on a good old sunday afternoon?

So whats been up? Well, schools off for a week before new classes start in second semester at Blanche… just relaxing and going out on the days that I usually cant because of school, working a at Le Chateau where i started 3 weeks ago, I like it for the most part, but I’m not making any moollaa in the bank! I’ve been using my visa like I am some rich girl. Well i can’t help that there is spring and summer arrivals allllll over the damn place, come on now, I have be up-to-date with trends, even my fave vintage/consignment stores get costly!

I ask myself: whatsup with Biggie’s song MO MONEY MORE PROBLEMS? pshhh .. my problems would be fricken solved right about now if i had mo monneyyy…thats really the only issue!

Anddd I’m desperate to find a well paid job that I actually dont mind going to…so hard to find! If only I had the dream offer to move to L.A. or N.Y for a paid internship with some big fashion magazine or something like that…. wouldn’t that be nice?

I was working at the Cabriolet Gala, one of Tracey Pincott’s well known fashion shows the other day..and it blew me away, by far the best I’ve seen in Vancouver yet. Beautiful set up, organized backstage…made me fall in love with the industry even more! I wish I could be surrounded by that more and more everyday.

Anyways bloggers… i dont think anyone really reads these blogs anyways, I guess its like a little online diary thats not so top secret… Thats all i got for this lovley post. I’ll be back with something interesting soon. I promise.
