The day finally came. Anticipation to his show for many weeks, Jay-Z performed this past friday(october16th) @ GM Place.

I must say, I have never felt so touched by a performance. Jigga man, a legendary hip-hop artist world-wide had touched down in Vancouver and kept the whole stadium screaming and throwing their legendary “diamonds” in the air. As soon as he came out on stage with his latest single ” Run this Town” the arena went bonkers. Continuing on with his ever so popular hits, from old albums and recent.. all of them kept the party going. Although he missed out on a few albums and songs (there is just so many..how can one choose?), all of the hits he did perform were definetly good enough to create the best concert in Vancouver EVER! I had goosebumps all night long… I might be a little starstruck, I know.. but its Jay-Z!

Oh, yah.. N.E.R.D & Pharrell, and Bridget Kelly were off the hook too. BK sang Empire State of Mind (Alicia Key’s part in the original song) and she killlleddd it! As for N.E.R.D, well they always know how to get the party started. Plus they hit up Pop Opera nightclub after and BK & Jigga hit up Fortune Sound Club.. of course I didn’t head out to either clubs.. just my luck :(

All in all… Dope night. Completley Satisfied. I hope he comes back, or I will chase him back to N.Y to catch another one of his shows.

If you ever wanna rep your fave artist/celebrity/ whoever on t-shirt, buy some heat transfer paper @ Staples, print out the pic on to the paper @ home and iron it onto a shirt yourself! So much cheaper than going to get it done at a store. And it ended up looking great!

I found out last week that Jay-Z is coming to perform in Vancouver on October 16th. I am sooooooooooooooo stokedddddddd!!! The last time he was here was a decade ago.. so this is going to be a huge show, considering hes a legggendary rapper! I’ve been bumping his music all day everydayyy and am verrry excited:) + his new album BLUEPRINT 3 is coming out on friday, and im pretty stoked for that too ( although i have a few leaked songs already.. and they are sweeeet, Ill post lattaa ) I reaally hope one of his opening performers is Rihanna.. cause that would just be the night of my dreammmsss!

I would love to post some of my fave songs of his but i still haven’t figured out a quick way of uploading songs onto a media sharing website, and I dont have too much time right now to wait around for songs to upload and post them…as soon as I find a quick way, I will post songs more often! .. and im still learning the tips and tricks of making blogging a little easier!
