Keep Slim, and keep a Grin :)

So much pressure on being Skinny these days right? I know I’m feelin’ the pressure to stay slim.
Keeping motivated to go the gym and eat right to feel right is definitely tough. I know that once you get the flow of it, things tend to go pretty smooth and its a part of your everyday schedule. Summer time might be a little easier to keep motivated ’cause you have to step into that bikini and feel good almost everyday. However….. fall/winter… not so much, you’ re inside all the time and covered up in chunky sweaters and leggings that suck in your fat. Lets just say I am getting pretty comfortable with my winter flub, and it’s keepin’ me warm!.
I hate the thought of thinking about obsessing over being skinny all the time, but honestly I can’t help it. It surrounds us in magazines, videos, fashion…even heading out into town there are skinny bitches all over. Kate Moss’s quote that I recently read ” Nothing tastes better than being skinny” got me thinking… Should I substitute food for skinnyness? Does it really taste thattttt good? Really? Hard for me to believe… and it’s probably not true, besides It wouldnt work very well for me anyways, I’ve been there and failed! Dont get me wrong, I adore Kate Moss, I am a huge fan and think she is an amazing at what she does. Although I would love to be model-slim like Kate and keep it up, I know that my body type and many other women’s body type would not be able to hold such a figure in a healthy matter for long periods of time. I like to look up to other celebrities such as Beyonce who have curvier and more “real” body types. Beyonce works very hard to get that bangin figure of hers, and that is what i try to do every day (minus the personal trainers and chef’s… wouldnt we all like that? ). Yes, of course it is a lot of work, but hard work pays off and in the end you feel like a superstar right? RIGHT!
I think that nothing tastes better than feeling healthy and secure in your own body. Keeping up with a day-to-day workout, and just plain old eating the right food! Thats what it’s all about.
Let me know your thoughts on SKINNY.. let’s be real, it ain’t gon’ work for everyone.
Peace & Love
